The new ENERGY binding differs from its competitors by its fundamentally innovative design.
Innovation for a radical change
The skier's foot swings from a raised pivot, located above the toe piece. It is thus possible to step forward in much the same way as when walking. Starting forward movement is easier, requiring less effort, and each stride is longer and easier.
Ski further
If you compare the ENERGY binding with a conventional one, energy savings are significant and with increased comfort to the ski tourer. Tests have show of energy savings of 10 % plus.
Ski higher and faster
As it rotates, the raised axis A defines a new axis A', located underneath the foot, thus creating a shorter lever, which in turns requires less effort at the start of the movement.
